Americans spend an average of almost $140,000 on doing chores in their lifetime and dedicate around 30 days a year to getting them done.
The average person will spend $138,866 on doing household tasks and errands throughout their lives according to new research.
The survey found that cleaning and organizing are the most time consuming chores – taking up a grand total of two hours and 16 minutes per week.
